Charlotte McLauchlan

Registered Dietitian

Charlotte McLauchlan is a Registered Dietitian with a Master of Health Sciences from the University of Auckland, including a master’s thesis exploring energy deficiency in triathletes and is currently completing the Sports Dietitians Australia course. As an endurance athlete herself, she has a particular interest in helping athletes understand how nutrition can support performance, recovery and long-term health.

With a practical, evidence-based and individualised approach, Charlotte supports athletes to develop nutrition strategies that work alongside their training and fit into everyday life. Her own experiences within sport, including navigating periods of RED-s and injury, have shaped her passion for helping people understand their nutrition needs and changing their attitude towards food as being the fuel for performance.

Her approach is empathetic and holistic. She takes the time to understand each client as an individual, recognising that nutrition is influenced by much more than food alone. Training demands, lifestyle, health, goals, preferences and relationship with food all play an important role in creating an approach that is both effective and sustainable.

Her goal is to help clients move beyond confusing nutrition advice and develop a confident, sustainable approach to food, one that supports performance, health and enjoyment of the things they love.
