Pato’s tennis journey started at the age of 9, and after playing all through his youth, ended up with him as a representative for his native Tahiti, playing in the national team.

First coaching at the age of 16, Pato completed his first coaching qualification at 21. In Tahiti he coached the elite U12, U14 and U16 boys and girls around Pacific Oceania (Fiji, Samoa, American Samoa and New Caledonia).

Even with his background in high performance, Pato can coach any type of person from social to high performance.
Pato coached team events on the Gold Coast at KDV and nominated to be the coach for the Davis Cup Junior team for the U16 boys Pacific Oceania team in Malaysia this year. In September 2023 I had the opportunity to move in Auckland for coaching, where he has been at Ngataringa Tennis Club for the past 2 years, and after 6 months was promoted to Head Coach.

Pato is still playing, and you can see him on court playing Caro Bowl and Chelsea Cup.
