Juan Poblete

High Performance Coach

Juan’s experience spans over 30 years of international playing and coaching across South America, Europe and the United States. He served as Head of Tennis at Stadio Italiano from 1998 to 2003, leading a programme of over 1,000 active members and managing a team of 6 coaches.

He later founded and directed Más Tenis Academy in Santiago (2003–2010), building a structured high-performance programme that developed more than 50 competitive juniors and over 200 players within the academy system. Following this, Juan continued in senior leadership as Head Coach at Club Deportivo Olimpia.

He was appointed Captain of the Chilean U16 Women’s National Team at the 2001 World Championships and coached Hans Podlipnik (ATP Doubles Career High #43) through his formative years until age 14.

Juan believes tennis is a sport that can be enjoyed for life, and he remains committed to contributing to the holistic development of every player he works with.
